Which it's clear the author is an articulate but intellectually vacuous
antagonizer who would love to spread his arrogance and ignorance onto
you. F-TheSouth was made for the sole purpose of defamation and to overinflate
the egos of northerners. We will try to dispel their "facts",
half truths, and all out lies.
We do not hate or even dislike
people simply because they live in the northern US states. We know all
northerners do not think this way. We dislike people who try and spread
false information about the south and prey on the gullible to do so.
For us living in the south,
we have to endure slanderous, derogatory, and insulting statements made
by people outside the south just about every day of our lives. It's comes
from the internet, tv, movies, books, newspapers, magazines, radio, etc,
in some form or another we are put down to make you feel better about
yourselves.
The F-TheSouth website was
also created on November 4, 2004, 2 days after the Presidential election.
Apparently he is not happy with the election outcome and is lashing out
in a hateful way. In any event, we'll straighten him out and the lies
he's spreading about the south.
| f*ck the South. f*ck 'em. We
should have let them go when they wanted to leave. But no, we had
to kill half a million people so they'd stay part of our special Union.
Fighting for the right to keep slaves - yeah, those are states we
want to keep. |
A few words on
the Civil War
http://www.lewrockwell.com/rockwell/civilwar.html
<-- learn something. I'm sure you'll be shocked to learn the full story. The
north has only heard the Yankee perspective (even some us in the south too), and
what we all learned in school is a revision of history telling us the civil war
was only about slavery.
http://www.daveblackonline.com/southern_educators_perpetuate.htm
this link has several myths about the south that you may not know. Check it out.
"The real
reason Lincoln gave for invading the South was to collect their
tariffs, customs and duties (taxes) and to gain economic control
of the South. This is not a pretty motive, but it was the true cause
of the Northern invasion of the South." http://www.georgiaheritagecoalition.org/site2/commentary/powell-why-they-fought.phtml
The Union Army (northern
states) suffered more casualties than the Confederates during the
Civil War. Check the links.
New England was the center of
the slave trade in the American colonies and was by far the leading slave merchant
supplying captive Africans to the South. Read up, http://www.slavenorth.com
Apparently people in the North
have no clue but they had slaves too, read about how it was erased from
Northern history, http://www.slavenorth.com/denial.htm
President Lincoln
insisted that the war was not about slavery or black rights; it
was a war to preserve the Union. Most white northerners were not
interested in fighting to free slaves or in giving rights to black
people. For this reason, the government turned away African American
volunteers who rushed to enlist, with the exception of the Union
navy. Lincoln upheld the laws barring blacks from the army, proving
to northern whites that their race privilege would not be threatened.
Some of the black people in the north rejected the idea of fighting
to preserve a Union that had rejected them and which did not give
them the rights of citizens.
The purpose of the
Civil War did not change into a fight against slavery until 1863,
two years after the war had already started. This is when the Union
allowed the black people into their army, they were also rioted
against my some northern whites for taking their jobs.
The north and south
both had slaves, it was just properly abolished years before in
the north than before the south. Slavery was bad and now it's gone,
we both know this (I hope). Especially for those who live in the
northern states.
On a side note, the
south is the most racially diverse and the most sucessfully desegregated
region in the US. The north is still having problems with segregation.
55% of black people live in the south and 19% live in the northeast.
http://www.census.gov/prod/2003pubs/p20-541.pdf
Everyone knows that
slavery was wrong. I'm sure these slave owners in the past were
living their life according to the bible and thought they were right
by doing so (as were most all civilizations who had slaves), Leviticus
25:44-45

| And now what do we get?
We're the f*cking Arrogant Northeast Liberal Elite? |
Only because you really
want to be. Don't forget bigot, egotistical, maniacal, and rude
too! Just look at that website, it is the definition of all of those
things.
The fact that the guy made f*ckthesouth.com
is proof enough that he is a 100% "Arrogant Northeast Liberal Elite".
If you search the internet for comments about that site, it's almost entirely
Northerners cheering about how true it is, which is just FURTHER
PROOF! Stop embarrassing yourselves, it's really pathetic. It's also amazing
to see how gullible people are and the sheer stupidity of people posting comments
about it.
This is a really good
read, http://www.humaneventsonline.com/article.php?id=5652 |
| Cause we f*cking
founded this country, a**holes. Those Founding Fathers you keep
going on and on about? All that bullsh*t about what you think
they meant by the Second Amendment giving you the right to keep
your assault weapons in the glove compartment because you didn't
bother to read the first half of the f*cking sentence? Who do
you think those wig-wearing lacy-shirt sporting revolutionaries
were? They were f*cking blue-staters, dickhead. Boston? Philadelphia?
New York? Hello? Think there might be a reason all the f*cking
monuments are up here in our backyard? |
Jamestown, Virginia
was the first settlement. Jamestown was settled in 1607....nearly
13 years before Plymouth.
George Washington,
the first US President and Commander of the Continental Army in
the American Revolutionary War (without which there would be no
United States), was from the south. So were Thomas Jefferson (who
wrote the Declaration
of Independence) and James Madison too, among many others. Even
Abraham Lincoln himself was from the south. The north did not start
this country alone, just to say you did is stupidity and arrogance.
Ever notice that the
Presidents on the $1, $5, and $20 bills are from the south?
The Second Amendment:
"A well regulated militia,
being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the
people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."
Militia, definition
- An army composed of ordinary citizens rather than professional
soldiers.
"Well regulated" meaning
governed by the laws of the land.
It was an unorganized
militia that brought down the plane in Pennsylvania on September
11 that prevented it from reaching its target. Waco and Ruby Ridge
are examples of regulating gun laws.
There was no vote
from the public on legalizing assault weapons, the ten year ban
was allowed to lapse. Assault weapons are not in high demand anyway
because they're not a big deal. They are guns, and a gun is a gun.
Fully automatic weapons are still illegal, and should be.
There are an estimated 750 million
guns in the world and one third are in the USA. If anyone tries to invade our
country we've got the firepower from ordinary citizens to fight back, thus making
the US public a militia without anyone really realizing it.
Also, what monuments
are you talking about? Those in DC? Or the ones you put up yourself,
or the ones the GOVERNMENT paid for (with tax payers money)? You
keep contradicting yourself. Or maybe the Statue of Liberty that
was given to the immigration capitol of the US by the French that
sits right next to Manhattan that you paid $24 to the Native American
Indians for?
|
| No, No. Get the f*ck out.
We're not letting you visit the Liberty Bell and f*cking Plymouth
Rock anymore until you get over your real American selves and
start respecting those other nine amendments. Who do you think
those f*cking stripes on the flag are for? Nine are for f*cking
blue states. And it would be 10 if those Vermonters had gotten
their f*cking Subarus together and broken off from New York
a little earlier. Get it? We started this sh*t, so don't get
all uppity about how real you are you Johnny-come-lately "Oooooh
I've been a state for almost a hundred years" dickheads.
f*ck off. |
Arrogance once again
to think that only northerners started this country. You've got
a lot of learning to do. Were there only nine stripes? hmmm?
Respect? Do you even
know what the other amendments are? You have no idea what you're
talking about.
http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/constitution.table.html#amendments
Plymouth Rock, was
the site of a great three-day feast between the Pilgrims and Indians

but a harvest festival. Learn something new about that harvest

| Arrogant? You
wanna talk about us Northeasterners being f*cking arrogant?
What's more American than arrogance? Hmmm? Maybe horsies? I
don't think so. Arrogance is the f*cking cornerstone of what
it means to be American. And I wouldn't be so f*cking arrogant
if I wasn't paying for your f*cking bridges, b*tch. |
These are all words
I know, but put them together and it's gibberish.
Arrogance has nothing
to do with being American. You are making a fool out of yourself
and giving the rest of us a bad name. Apparently you are living
in a different America.
You forgot to mention
the $14.6
billion Big Dig in Boston that is sucking up $8.5 billion in
federal funding and the proposed $175
billion Texas super highway that would be financed mostly -
if not entirely - by private money.
You are paying for
bridges in the south? Get over yourself. You are going to rub your
ego raw if you keep on stroking it so much. You guys have to pay
loads of more taxes than we do. We'll point fingers and laugh at
you about that a little later.... keep reading. |
| All those Federal taxes
you love to hate? It all comes from us and goes to you, so shut
up and enjoy your f*cking Tennessee Valley Authority electricity
and your fancy highways that we paid for. And the next time
Florida gets hit by a hurricane you can come crying to us if
you want to, but you're the ones who built on a f*cking swamp.
"Let the Spanish keep it, it’s a sh*thole,"
we said, but you had to have your f*cking orange juice. |
Half a million people
move to Florida each year. Can you say that about your state? No?
Why not? It's not difficult to figure out why. Tell your neighbors
to stop moving to Florida if you hate it so much, don't forget to
warn them about the horrors of southern hospitality too.
"During the
1990s, more people moved away from the Northeast than to it from
other regions of the country. Between 2002 and 2003, the Midwest
(-101,000) and the Northeast (-98,000) both experienced net domestic
migration loss of population, while both the South (125,000) and
the West (74,000) had net domestic migration gain of population."
http://www.census.gov/prod/2004pubs/p20-549.pdf
(page 14, table h)
http://www.census.gov/prod/2003pubs/censr-8.pdf
(page 3-4, table2)
The south is also the most
generous region in the US. The northeast is at the bottom of the list.
Taken from tva.gov
"Federal funds are no longer available to TVA, and existing
legislation specifically identifies the funds other than federal
appropriations that TVA is to use for its essential stewardship
responsibilities."
"The power program receives no congressional appropriations
and is required to make annual payments to the U.S. Treasury
in repayment of, and as a return on, the government’s
appropriation investment in TVA power facilities."
Tax (Federal, State, Local)
I would like to tell you where our tax money goes here in the south....
in our pockets!
Northern states pay
an average of almost double (sometimes triple) the Federal Taxes
than do Southern States, mostly because of the high cost of living,
salaries required to live there and the progressive tax structure.
Northern states also pay more state and local taxes. These include,
property taxes, sales and gross receipts, selective sales tax, licenses,
and other taxes. These taxes are continuing to skyrocket for the
North and have been doing so for quite a while, this contributes
to raising the cost of living to the already very high cost of living
for the North.
The top five states where the
tax burden as a percent of income is the highest are: New York (12.9%),
Maine (12.3%), Ohio (11.3%). Hawaii (11.3%), Rhode Island (11.1%).
The US average is 10.0%.
http://www.retirementliving.com/RLtaxburdens.html
States with higher incomes per
capita pay higher federal taxes per capita thanks to the income tax's progressive
structure, which increases federal taxes per dollar of federal spending received
in return. The people living in these high-income high-tax states do not necessarily
live better or save more than people in low-income low-tax states because the
cost of living is usually that much higher or more.
Federal Aid
Do you think Florida receives the most Federal Aid because of
hurricanes? Think again.
FEMA 2004 disaster
declarations, http://www.fema.gov/news/disasters.fema
The single costliest natural disaster was the Northridge earthquake
in California, $7 billion, not considered the south. Overall costliest
natural disasters are heatwaves/droughts totaling $144 billion,
mostly in the midwest not in the south, http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/img/reports/billion/state2002a.jpg
The south does not
receive the most Federal Aid, http://www.census.gov/prod/www/abs/fas.html
I'm beginning to wonder
if this guy did any research at all.
|
| The next dickwad
who says, "It’s your money, not the government's
money" is gonna get their a** kicked. Nine of the ten states
that get the most federal f*cking dollars and pay the least...
can you guess? Go on, guess. That’s right, motherf*cker,
they're red states. And eight of the ten states that receive
the least and pay the most? It’s too easy, asshole, they’re
blue states. It’s not your money, assholes, it’s
f*cking our money. What was that Real American Value you were
spouting a minute ago? Self reliance? Try this for self reliance:
buy your own f*cking stop signs, a**holes. |
http://www.census.gov/Press-Release/www/releases/archives/governments/002939.html
Federal Spending. Californians benefited the most, receiving $220 billion, followed
by Texas ($140 billion), New York ($138 billion), Florida ($113 billion) and Pennsylvania
($90 billion). Per capita federal spending among states, meanwhile, was highest
in Alaska ($12,244), Virginia ($11,163), Maryland ($10,464), New Mexico ($9,995)
and North Dakota ($9,033)
http://www.census.gov/Press-Release/www/2003/cb03-ff05se.html
You are cherry picking stats that go in your favor and only partially
looking at the facts.
Have you ever wondered
why this isn't the big story, why everyone hasn't already heard
about this from the media? Did you ever stop to think? Did you look
at all the facts? Have you done the math yet? Oh ok, well go ahead
and look up the states in question (area, population, salaries,
cost-of-living, etc, etc). Done yet?
New Mexico receives more federal
dollars than they pay. Don't forget about local/state/federal taxes not being
paid on Indian Reservations and illegal immigrants.
We've already covered
this, but the reason why you pay more taxes is because your state
is screwing you out of your money, and yet you still live there
and then act like you're better then everyone else because you live
in a state that forces you to pay high taxes. Go blue right? Are
you really proud of the fact that you live in a state where you
have to pay more taxes than everyone else? It blows my mind. The
only thing I owe you is a laugh. Plus the cost of living up there
is so high I don't know why anyone would stay. No wonder there are
so many ghettos in the north.
Personally, I would
make the same amount of money no matter where I live, but by living
in the south I can live in a better house in a better neighborhood
and still have funds for a better life than if I lived in a northern
state, especially the northeast. The cost of living in the south
is lower, taxes are lower, and the weather is great. It doesn't
get much better in the US.
|
| Let’s talk
about those values for a f*cking minute. You and your Southern
values can bite my a** because the blue states got the values
over you f*cking Real Americans every day of the god*amn week.
Which state do you think has the lowest divorce rate you marriage-hyping
dickwads? Well? Can you guess? It’s f*cking Massachusetts,
the f*cking center of the gay marriage universe. Yes, that’s
right, the state you love to tie around the neck of anyone to
the left of Strom Thurmond has the lowest divorce rate in the
f*cking nation. Think that’s just some aberration? How
about this: 9 of the 10 lowest divorce rates are f*cking blue
states, a**hole, and most are in the Northeast, where our values
suck so bad. And where are the highest divorce rates? Care to
f*cking guess? 10 of the top 10 are f*cking red-a** we're-so-f*cking-moral
states. And while Nevada is the worst, the Bible Belt is doing
its f*cking part. |
Is this still about
the south, or about the red states? You seem to be getting them
confused because not all red states are in the south. You guys hate
Canadians too, why don't you bring them into this while you're at
it because you are attacking people who have a different belief
structure instead of attempting to find out why they believe what
they do.
Moral Values
US voters ranked “moral values” as the key issue in choosing their
next president. Of those who put “moral values” at the top of their
list, 80% voted for Bush. For those who placed jobs and the economy in the top
spot, 80% voted for John Kerry. Also, Kerry is a lawyer and most people believe
them to be unethical and lacking moral qualities.
This is a good read,
http://www.cavalierdaily.com/CVArticle.asp?ID=21350&pid=1216
"Some Americans believe in God. Some like to pray. And
some Americans even like to go to church. And these Americans like
to see the same qualities in their president. Maybe Americans were
trying to send the message that it's actually OK to have moral values,
and it's OK to have a president who is clear about his moral values
and who makes decisions based on those moral values."
Marital and Divorce
Status
Ding-Ding-Ding, you got something correct. The northeast does
have lower divorce rates, and the west has the highest. The northeast
also has the highest percentage of people never married.
http://www.census.gov/prod/2003pubs/c2kbr-30.pdf
(page5, table 2)
"People in the Northeast had the highest percentage never married
(29 percent) and, correspondingly, had the lowest proportions who
were now married (53 percent) and divorced (8 percent). People in
the South had the lowest percentage never married (25 percent)."
"The state with the highest percentage never married was New
York (32 percent), followed by Massachusetts (31 percent). In contrast,
21 percent of the adult population in Arkansas in 2000 had never
been married."
The northeast is tied
with the south in separations at 2.5%.
|
| But two guys
making out is going to f*cking ruin marriage for you? Yeah?
Seems like you're ruining it pretty well on your own, you little
b*stards. Oh, but that's ok because you go to church, right?
I mean you do, right? Cause we f*cking get to hear about it
every god*amn year at election time. Yes, we're fascinated by
how you get up every Sunday morning and sing, and then you're
f*cking towers of moral superiority. Yeah, that's a workable
formula. Maybe us f*cking Northerners don't talk about religion
as much as you because we're not so busy sinning, hmmm? Ever
think of that, you self-righteous a**holes? No, you're too busy
erecting giant stone tablets of the Ten Commandments in buildings
paid for by the f*cking Northeast Liberal Elite. And who has
the highest murder rates in the nation? It ain't us up here
in the North, assholes. |
You just think people
who go to church are better than you, which makes you feel inferior.
We hear on the news just about everyday what goes on in the churches
up there, I don't blame you for not going. I'm personally not religious
and don't go to church, but the south is the bible belt and many
people do, trust me I hear about it often too.
It's funny how you
pick one instance from one person and then act like the whole south
is in on it. You know for a fact that you are living in a glass
house too, I think I would keep my mouth shut from now on if I were
you.
Also, do you have
receipts for those bridges, stop signs, and federal buildings you
keep going on about? ring ring... Hello north, this is the south
again, we've got a broken bridge, can we borrow some money?
haha! You pay your taxes to the government and the government decides
where the money goes. You do have a reason to be upset about taxes,
but you should be angry at your state and the government, not the
south.
|
| Well this gravy
train is f*cking over. Take your liberal-bashing, federal-tax-leaching,
confederate-flag-waving, holier-than-thou, hypocritical bullsh*t
and shove it up your a**. |
Yes it is over, finally.
If that is not the quintessential definition of an arrogant northeastern
liberal elitist, I don't know what is.
If the northeast is full of liberal
democrats, how come Kerry didn't receive 100% of the votes from those states?
Slightly below half of the votes from blue states were for Bush and just under
half of the votes from red states were for Kerry. If you are bashing the south
and the red states then you are bashing half of the liberal democrat voters for
Kerry. Not very smart are you?
http://election.cbsnews.com/election2004/
If you don't like
your country... MOVE, simple as that, I would. Canadians dislike
the US too, why don't you move there. Here's some stuff you'll need

Or you could threaten secession
again, like you always do. The northeastern states threatened secession in protest
of the Louisiana Purchase in 1803 and again when Louisiana applied for statehood.
In 1845, when Texas was considered for statehood the New England states again
threatened secession. In each instance of New England secession plots the critical
issue was always money and political power. http://www.georgiaheritagecoalition.org/site2/commentary/scroggins-secession2004.phtml
|
I bet this guy read one article saying something negative about the north
and decided to bash the south in any way possible. It's a shame you don't
live in the south because you would have a career bashing the north every
day for the rest of your life, considering all that we hear and have to
put up with on a daily basis.
Even though all of this
should be known by those living in the north, it's not. Making fun of
the South is a way of life and not even thought about as being wrong.
It's so common practice that it's not even on their conscience because
it's so widely accepted up there and it doesn't really matter what's the
truth or who is affected by it. All that matters is putting down someone
else so you can feel better about yourself. Think about it, cause you
know I'm right.
2000 &
2004 Presidential Election Map by County
(shows that the country pretty much voted the exact same
as last time)
This map below
shows red/blue percentages of each state
(shows that the south is not red and the north is not blue)
Here's a few facts
about this page, about both the north and south, and about me:
Nowhere on this page does it say
that I am a conservative, a republican, or voted for Bush.
Anytime I defend Republicans, it's for educational purposes because I'm neither
Republican nor Democrat.
Did you know that there are more
Republicans who voted for Bush in New York, California and Pennsylvania than there
are in Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky,
West Virginia and South Carolina combined?
States with the highest percentage
of Republican voters are out west, not the south.
I feel that discrimination of
people from a specific region is just as bad if not worse than racism because
you don't care what color or creed the person is, you just prejudge them all regardless.
F*ckthesouth.com is a hate site,
SouthernMyths is not.
If you came across a site called
F*cktheBlacks (racism) or F*cktheJewish (anti-semitism) would you still think
it was ok? Would it just be comedy and you cannot understand why anyone would
be upset about it?
Anything slightly negative said about Blacks or Jews is extreme taboo in the US,
it will make front page news and these people may be sued. But anti-South hate
speech is celebrated?
Here are a few more maps for those
that still can't figure out how those red vs. blue maps work.

more
The guy who wrote f*ckthesouth
is from Wisconsin. That's not even the northeast. He's a career anti-government
and anti-establishment protester who helps make lots of hate sites and sells t-shirts
on government footsteps.
A lot of people make the south
the butt of their jokes, but did you know that only 0.0797% of southerners live
in a trailer? And that the state with the highest incidence of incest is in the
northwest? Those jokes wouldn't be funny if the south wasn't used though, right?
This is a part of Northern oppression that has been going on for about 150 years.
-on a side note: Albert Einstein's
parents were cousins and he married one of his cousins. Former NY mayor Rudolf
Giuliani was briefly married to his cousin also.
-fact: there is a higher chance of birth defects from a pregnant woman over the
age of 40 than there is from relatives inbreeding.
People say the south is poor and
is a Republican region. It's a fact that Republicans earn more money than Democrats,
so which is it?
In nationwide
studies going back to 1972, 45% of Republicans report they are happy, compared
to only 30% of Democrats. This may explain why lots of Democrats are such angry
people.
